Our first mission is to provide the Columbia River Gorge community with a safe and fun space for people of all ages to learn and practice gymnastics, parkour and trampolining. Our second mission is to be a community center where children and young adults can go to socialize and play, gain confidence, strength and character through events such as after school and summer programs and evening events.
Classes
Learn to move with us through a wide range of class offerings for movers as young as 18 months and as old as you like. Our programs focus on Gymnastics, Cheer, Parkour, Flips & Dryland. Skill levels range from Baby and Pre/K through Advanced levels in all sports.
Open Gym
Come play in the gym when it isn’t in use for classes! We offer lots of time to get into the gym with daytime options for early learners and homeschoolers, as well as after school open gym, evening open gym for the teens and adults, and weekend open gym for tumblers and fitness enthusiasts of all ages! Kids and adults alike can use this time to practice skills, socialize, or even get a solid workout in. We offer lots of options for “kids” of all ages.
Camps
Kids love to be with us and in our space. Parents need a safe place for their kids to be. Our campers are here with us year round with schools’ out camps during days of school closures and holidays and summer camp for a good chunk of the summer for all kids.
After School Programs
Chalk offers after school shuttle pick-up in the Chalk vans for May Street, Westside, and Parkdale elementary schools. These shuttles can be used to get a ride to your class, or you can head straight to our After School Open Gym which is monitored by our Camp Counselors. Kids can be signed up for shuttles and open gym only, or a combination of shuttle and open gym in combination with their scheduled classes.
Events
Chalk is Hood River’s most fun place to tumble and celebrate big days in a child’s life. Host your birthday party or life event celebration here, sign up for a date night / kids’ night out event and more! Consider Chalk for booking company or social events when there are lots of kids to entertain. Our Fort Chalk building and yard provide lots of space for adults to relax and socialize while kids play!
